COFFEE MORNINGS EVERY TUESDAY MORNING 10.30am in the OXNAM ROOM ALL ARE WELCOME.

SUMMER FETE –Thank you once again to all who supported us at this event. It was wonderful to welcome so many of the village into the Church. We were fortunately blessed once again with good weather and a team of willing helpers which helped us raise a record breaking £1565.00 –Thank you every one. Revd Hilary

WELL DONE and THANK YOU to all the helpers of the TEDDY TEAM especially Jacquie, Clare, David and Dolly for organising everyone. We all had a marvellous afternoon which was well attended. Twenty two teddy’s were launched from the top of the tower –sadly three did not make it safely to the ground. Two have been rescued but one is still reported missing –last seen heading for Mitchell.

WEDNESDAY 20TH April – CANDLELIT MEDITATION to take place in the Oxnam Room starting at 8.00pm

MAUNDY THURSDAY 21st April

12.00 CHRISM MASS at the Cathedral (This service includes Blessing of Holy Oils and all Priests renewing their vows. Everyone is invited to come)

Service at St. Newlyna 5.00pm –The Reception of Holy Oils into the Parish

GOOD FRIDAY 22nd April

10.00am ‘The Liturgy of Good Friday’ in St. Newlyna followed by a Pilgrimage Walk to St. Enoder Church where there will be a Good Friday Reflection at 3.00pm followed by Hot Cross Buns. (Half Way stop to eat packed lunches at ‘Brambles’ Mitchell) –New route this year for the second half.

HOLY SATURDAY 23rd April

10.00am Easter Garden Service for Children and Families at St. Newlyna

7.00pm in St. Newlyna ‘Service of Light’ and Renewal of Baptismal Vows

WHITE CROSS MISSION –Romanian Visit. May 6th Revd. Pat Robson is arranging a week long visit to Casa Dulereni the Guest House in Romania. This helps raise funds to help the orphans, needing supervision for the rest of their lives. Sight- seeing, pleasant walks and city visits can be arranged.
